The O.L. Halsell Foundation annually makes grants to nonprofit, charitable organizations in support of their efforts to improve the quality of life in Orange County communities. Funding is directed towards programs that the Trustees determine best reflect the Foundation’s philosophy. Funds are not granted for individual scholarships, religious institutions, debt retirement or budget deficits.
Currently funded organizations – Orange County nonprofit and charitable organizations that received grants from the O.L. Halsell Foundation in either of the past two years – as well as organizations new to the Foundation must submit electronic Grant Consideration Requests by September 30, 2021.

The Foundation will open grant applications on August 1, 2021. The deadline for 2021 Grant Consideration Requests is September 30, 2021. Funding decisions will be made in early December 2021.
If you received a grant in December 2020, the grant report for funds received is due by August 1, 2021. Fulfillment of this requirement is a condition to receiving any future grants.
